Most of the Muslems among them Ebne-Arabi considered him as a prophet and narrated that once his daughter went to see Mohammad (P.B.U.H.).The holy prophet said to her , "Welcome the daughter of the prophet who was killed by his followers".And it is said that when she saw the prophet reading the "Akhlas Sura" she said that my father was also reciting it.
